The PrEP Clinic is so PROUD to present #WhatPrideMeansToYou! While we support LGBTQ health all year round, we wanted to do something extra special for Pride Month.

We have several talented artists who will be performing on our Facebook page “The PrEP Clinic” every Tuesday at 3pm. They will also share what Pride means to them.

Sofonda Cox (June 2)

Sexy, Sassy , Sensational, Sofonda Cox is #theitgirl theitgirlsofonda!!! For 20 years she has reigned supreme as Toronto’s hardest working queen, who can be seen everywhere. She is an actor who has done appearances in Film and Television such as Cake , Soldier’s Girl and Queer As Folk. Apart from being the resident queen and host at establishments like, Woodys, the Drink, El convento Rico, and the pride PRISM festival, she has been booked all over the world in countries like the US, Brazil, Malaysia, and all over Mexico. Known for her props, she has also garnered Worldwide appeal with her puppeteer performance as Destiny’s Child which went viral on Facebook , boasting over 1.5 million views all over the world. Her recent Lemonade Tribute video went viral as well, now at 250k. Earning Sofonda the title of ” Canada’s Viral sensation. She has even caught the attention of LOGOTV, NEWNOWNEXT and even Rupaul. You can always find her stirring up the news feeds and social media outlets. She is also TD bank’s pride ambassador. 20 years and still going strong, this Canadian Queen is definitely on Fire and her flame is not going out anytime soon. Join her for a live drag performance!


Sofonda Cox

Zee (June 9)

Zee is a producer, singer, song writer and percussionist who has resided in Toronto for seven years. Zee has been singing for 31 years and exploring musical platforms is where he finds his greatest fulfillment. He has graced stages in across the US, Toronto and The Bahamas, where he was born. Every performance is opportunity to share his passion for love, equality, and forgiveness. Join him for a live musical performance!


Irfan Lakhani (June 16)

Irfan Lakhani is a Bollywood and Dancehall dancer and choreographer based in Toronto & began his dance journey at the age of 10 within the community events and school. He is currently the owner of ‘iM Productions’ and has learned and performed various styles of dance including Kathak, Bhangra, Tollywood, Dancehall, and Hip-hop. Ever since a young age, dance has become a medium for Irfan to escape reality and create his own happy place. He has also collaborated with various Toronto dancers. Whether it is dancing in competitions, choreographing others for competitions, dancing at gigs, or just in his bedroom, there is no greater feeling in the world than moving to a piece of music and letting the rest of the world disappear. Join him for a dance lesson followed by a performance you can join him in on!

Justine D’as (June 30)

She’s bold, juicy with hints of raspberry and Chanel No. 5. In a short few years, Justine D’as has lip-synced her padded butt off performing at tons of queer socials, with Army Of Sass Barrie, various charitable events, drag queen story reads, sharing the stage with a Ru Girl and making herstory as one of the first drag queens to perform on a Canadian Armed Forces Base. Join her for a live drag performance as we close out Pride Month!
